Warmer privacy

Account details stay on your PC. Heating requests go directly to Mill.

Warmer privacy

Warmer connects directly to Mill's cloud over HTTPS to sign in, list your homes and rooms, read heating status, and send the changes you choose. Mill receives these requests under its own privacy policy. Happy Heap operates no intermediary server and collects no telemetry or analytics.

Your password is used only for sign-in and is not saved. When Mill supplies a refresh token, Warmer stores it with your account name and selected home in Windows Credential Manager for your Windows user on this PC. Sign out removes this saved sign-in. Closing the app keeps it for next time.

Demo mode uses fictional rooms and does not access your account or saved sign-in. Self-tests use fake HTTP responses and a separate temporary credential target. Heater schedules and timed overrides are stored by Mill, not on your PC.

When you choose Gen3 Wi-Fi setup, Warmer sends the network name and password directly to the heater's local setup address over the HTTP protocol documented by Mill. These Wi-Fi credentials are not sent to Mill's cloud or Happy Heap, are never saved, and the password field is cleared when submitted or when you leave setup. Cloud device linking, home creation, and room/device changes are sent to Mill only when you choose the corresponding action.

Warmer is an independent client from Happy Heap, unaffiliated with Mill Norway. Support: support@happyheap.dev Support page: https://happyheap.dev/warmer/support/ Privacy policy: https://happyheap.dev/warmer/privacy/
